"What is a forest?" Asks Ellie Davies. "Is it the trees, or is it the space that exists between them?"

In Between The Trees, Davies explores the meaning of the "Forest" by looking at the sense of isolation in the woods. In this body of work, she captures the eerie and thrilling sensation of time standing still in the forest, and the feeling that everything within the forest somehow exists in a different time, space, and state.
